Patent & Toddler
Is ideal for your baby or toddler to again water confidence and skills, you will be required to go in with them
Is for over 4's (at school) and requires a swimming aid and is held in the Hydro Pool.
Is for swimmers that can swim unaided and are able to swim 5 metres front & back stroke in the Hydro Pool
Is for swimmers that can swim 10 metres in kick breaststroke, front crawl and back crawl in the Main Pool with confidence.
Is for swimmers that can swim 10 metres in full breaststroke, front crawl and back crawl in the Main Pool.
Is for swimmers that can swim 25 metres in full breaststroke, front crawl and back crawl in the main pool.
Is for swimmers that can swim 50 metres in any stroke, front crawl, back crawl or breaststroke in the Main Pool. They are required to complete 10 metres of Butterfly and 25 metres in front crawl, back crawl and breaststroke.
Is for swimmers that can swim 50 metres in 2 strokes, front crawl, back crawl or breaststroke in the Main Pool. They are required to complete 25 metres of Butterfly and 50 metres in front crawl, back crawl and breaststroke.
Swim continuously for 10 minutes using two strokes with a efficient technique working to award level 11 and 12.
These classes are for students who have demonstrated a strong pass at level 10 or above. They aim to provide variety, skill improvement and increased stamina. The classes are for students who may later want to join the swimming club or Rookies lifesaving or conversely for those who do not want to join either, but wish to continue with swimming instruction and gain further certification.
RLSS Rookie Lifeguard Training
Anyone 8-12 years and above can become a Rookie Lifeguard after passing badge 10; you just need to be able to swim 25 metres!
Learn lifeguard skills and how to keep you and your friends safe around water.
You’ll get awards along the way; starting with Bronze, all the way up to the Gold Rookie Lifeguard Award.
You can even track your progress and show all your family and friends how well you are doing with the Rookie progress book.
Tuesday: 6.00pm – 7.00pm
Thursday: 6.30pm – 7.30pm
Junior Masters is aimed at children who wish to further their swimming ability without joining a club whilst having fun and gaining awards. Booking and payment must be taken before the start of each term.
A number of awards are on available:
· Any ASA badges, that has not previously been completed.
· Pre competition 1+2,
· Challenge: Bronze, silver and Gold awards,
· Personal Survival 1 and 2.
There is an upper age limit of 18, and all children should have a minimum ability of award 9/10.
